Looking For Private Dementia Care For Your Loved One In Glenrothes?
Give Them The Gift Of Safe, Understanding And Endlessly Patient Care At Westpark House
Choosing a care home for your loved one, especially when they have dementia, can be a complex decision. The best way to assess if a home is right for your loved one is to visit and get a feel for the atmosphere, see how well the residents are treated, and observe the interactions with our staff.
We'd love for you to come and visit Westpark House to see how we measure up. You're very welcome to call in anytime. In the meantime, we've listed below answers to some of the questions you may have. If there's anything we've missed, please feel free to call us on 01592 741849.

Will You Be Able To Cope With My Loved One's Dementia?
Westpark House is not a specialist dementia unit for individuals exhibiting disruptive or aggressive behavior. If this describes your loved one, we recommend seeking specialist medical placement.
However, for most people living with dementia, Westpark House is an excellent choice. We are a dedicated nursing home with significant expertise in supporting residents whose care needs have progressed. Our team is trained to provide endlessly patient and understanding support for those who can no longer cope effectively at home or in a standard residential setting.

If you are unsure whether Westpark House is the right environment to accommodate your loved one’s needs, please feel free to call the Home Manager, Jan Ritchie, on 01592 741849 for a confidential chat.
How Do I Know They Will Be Well Looked After?
We believe the best way to understand the quality of care at Westpark House is to hear from the families who experience it every day. With our "Very Good" Care Inspectorate ratings and a long-standing reputation in the Glenrothes area, we pride ourselves on transparency and excellence. Here is what some of our grateful families have to say about their loved one's experience with us.

My father is a resident in this wonderful home and all his days are happy and fulfilled. He is 97 years old. The dignity and attention to his individual needs and wishes (and that of the family) are always paramount in the care shown. He is kept well by excellent health/infection management. He is kept happy by love, activities and excellent food. It is truly his home in all senses.

What Will Their Room Be Like?
It’s essential for individuals living with dementia to have familiar surroundings to help them feel secure and relaxed.
We warmly encourage you to bring your loved one's own ornaments, treasured mementos, and small furniture items to personalize their space. At Westpark House, we believe a room should be a reflection of the person living in it, and we are happy to assist in making their new environment feel exactly like home.
Our rooms are situated within a stunning, traditionally built mansion-house, offering a light and airy atmosphere that promotes a sense of tranquility. Residents enjoy beautiful, calming views of our private, landscaped gardens and the scenic Fife countryside—a perfect backdrop for a peaceful daily life.
